Oh no, my phone

The visual aspect of my blog (when I post … I know I’m intermittent) may have taken a blow this past week when my cell phone’s camera stopped working. All I get is “CAMERA START ERROR.” Nice. Took it into the Verizon shop down the street — half to see if I could get my phone fixed and half to see how much new cameras cost — and left empty-handed. Oh, and the bluetooth doesn’t work, which forces me to drive illegally at times.

Since most (halfway nice) new phones cost at least $300, I did a little research on the iPhone to see if it is at all economically plausible. It’s not. (A plan with internet access adds up to more than $100 a month. But it would be cool to be able to blog from anywhere — if I ever actually did it.) So, it’s looking like I’ll be roughing it without a cell camera until January, when I’m due for a cheap phone upgrade.

I know cell phone cameras suck, but that’s what I’ve been taking pictures with for this blog. (Except for those Lisa has taken with her Nikon SLR.) I guess I still have my work cell, but, well, it’s my work cell. So, just a warning: you may see a lot of text here in the next few months. I’ll do what I can to make this less boring.
